Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 launched in India: Know how much Apple AirTag rival costs
Samsung has finally launched its latest Apple AirTag rival and successor to its SmartTag, SmartTag 2, in India. The company says that the Galaxy SmartTag 2 is better than the old one because it has a faster brain, making it more useful for keeping an eye on your stuff. It’s small, compact and capable of doing multiple things. Obviously, the use case may be subjective.
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 comes water-resistant. And to use it, one needs to sign up and set up their new Galaxy SmartTag 2 on the SmartThings Find app. It’s easy to use and helps you find your important stuff.
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2: Specs, features
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 gets a new and improved Compass View feature that shows arrows to guide you to your lost item. It’s available on any Galaxy smartphone with Ultra Wide Band (UWB) support, like the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The SmartTag 2 also has a new Lost Mode feature. It uses the NFC display to show your contact information, so anyone who finds your lost item can scan it and contact you.
Moreover, the SmartTag2 has a new power-saving mode that extends its battery life to up to 700 days. That’s more than twice as long as the previous Galaxy SmartTag models. Even in Normal mode, the SmartTag2’s battery life has been increased to 500 days, a 50 per cent increase over previous models.
